David Gold is not the only Hammer apologising for his misdeeds on twitter today, new signing Diego Poyet received some abuse on twitter after a tweet over two years old emerged where he says “Upton park on Saturday, We hate West ham We Hate West Ham #Scum’
Diego took to twitter this afternoon to apologise saying “For all yous getting on to me about that tweet 2 years ago it was banter between some of my friends and me when I went to watch a game and I was supporting my dads team (Brighton). Obviously I regret it looking at it now but there’s nothing I can do about it. I apologise. I was 16 at the time and very naive, I will learn from my mistakes. I’m very happy to be at the club and have loved my time here so far.”
