Leicester now bookies favourites to land Iheanacho

|

IheanachoLeicester City have had their first bid for Manchester City striker Kelechi rejected according to Owngoalnigeria.com today.

Overnight Leicester have suddenly become the bookies favourite at Evens to land the 20 year old Nigerian forward after talks with West Ham are said to have broken down over the fee that will be inserted in his buy back clause. West Ham remain second favourites to land the Man City youngster at odds of 6/4.

The Foxes are claimed to have put in a bid around the 20 million pounds mark but the report says their bid was turned down by the Etihad based outfit who are looking for a fee in the region of £24m.

Man City are yet to comment on his future but Iheanacho has been told by manager Pep Guardiola that he will only be sold if the club are able to sign a replacement.

Just get and agree with the buyback price, they will only want him back if he has been as outstanding success, so what have we got to lose ?

As per usual as we drag our heels over the buy back fee someone else jumps to the front of the queue. It all has a familiar, depressing ring to it.We need a striker probably 2 and seem to be going nowhere fast in pursuit of them. Can anyone feel a last minute bargain basement panic buying session coming on?.

Great news at last – lets move on and don’t walk into their trap. They know if they loan him out they will not get 24m as people will realise what they know that he is not top notch. Unless we get a loan deal move on from this potential disaster – it reminds me so much of the Zaza deal last season. We were stupid enough to thin he was good enough, he wasn’t but at least we negotiated an expensive loan. Hope we have learned from this.

Leicester just kept quiet and look like they will get something done- even with vardy already there. We make lots of noise but there always seem to be an issue. Seems just like this time last year

You seem to be making the mistake of believing everything you read wait until there is an official announcement from the club before you blow a headgasket is my advice

What news has come out of the club? Where is all the noise we’ve been making? Seems to me they have been very very quiet. It’s the media peddling all this guff and all our fans who can’t resist creating a drama are lapping it up.

Last summer we all know there was too much bullsh*t,fair enough, but so far this summer all i have seen is the written & electronic media doing all the talking or making noise as it has been put.
