Former Hammers bangs them in for fun

|

Former Hammer Diafra Sakho Scored two more goals for his new club Rennes at the weekend. The player who remained reportedly injured until his transfer to the French club during the January transfer window has scored 3 goals from four appearances for Rennes so far. He scored in the French cup against PSG on his debut as he came on as a second-half substitute against PSG. He made two Ligue 1 appearances without scoring but made up for this on his third league game by scoring a brace against Caen.

West Ham received just £3.7m upfront for Sakho with a potential £2.4m in add-ons based on appearances and goals. The Senegalese striker was initially purchased for £3.5m from Metz in 2014 which later rose to nearly £5m with add-ons.

Good luck to the fella…we’ve washed our hands of him so it’s the best of both worlds…onwards and upwards as they say …COYI…

I’m sure he was a right pain in the neck behind the scenes but can’t help thinking we managed him all wrong.
