The Hammer completed their ‘British soil’ pre-season campaign with another win but as reported they were not entirely impressive against an Ipswich Town team who gave them a tough work out.
Goals from Anderson and Arnautovic – with a reply from Harrison – was enough for them to fly out for the Betway Cup clash with a win under their belts and are now unbeaten in games against Wycombe Wanderers, Preston North End End, Aston Villa and now Ipswich.

Reality check for anyone who thinks we have suddenly become a top 6 team. I will accept a few scrappy 1-2 away wins this season
