Hammers train in China

|

The West Ham first-team squad landed in Shanghai, China after an eleven-hour flight in the early hours of this morning before taking a short internal flight to Nanjing.

There they checked into their plush Shangri La hotel in the centre of the ciyt where they posed for a squad photo.  One surprise addition in the team photo was director of football Mario Husillos.

With China seven hours ahead of the UK the team have already taken part in some light training in a closed session at Nanjing Olympic Sports centre which just 30 minutes from their hotel. It is at this stadium which was used for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games that West Ham will take on Manchester City on Wednesday for the start of the Premier League Asia trophy.

West Ham will then fly back to Shanghai where they will play Wolves or Newcastle next Saturday at the Hongkou Football Stadium.

I have a problem with Husillos in China ! He should be doing everything to get Haller over the line . As far as I can tell from their managers comments is the deal needs to be agreed by the clubs . I ask the owners to pay the money and get it done . We do not need or want anotherGonez saga just sign him ⚒
