Allardyce blames fixture list

|

SAllardyceSam Allardyce put today’s pitiful performance down to “tiredness.”

The Hammers boss refused to point the finger at any member of the teams saying: “I wasn’t shocked – it has been coming given the games we have had to cope with.

“There wasn’t the energy level because of the big effort against Manchester United and them playing with 10 men for 30 minutes at Southampton.

“West Brom were much better than us today but I’m not going to criticise my players and those who do don’t know very much about football.

“We also have players injured that we need to get back!”

Yes, I’m tired too – of watching rubbish and listening to BFS’s pathetic excuses!

    • claretonmyshirt says:

Funny that we were tired playing 3 games in 6 days because West Brom played Sunday, Wednesday and today just lkike us.

  • bubs says:

Tiredness new word for fatigue,Nolan and Noble have not played for a week Tomkins only played one game in two weeks Valencia and Sakho half a game against Southampton,
Jenkinson just had two weeks out,Kouyate had two week break after Africa cup.
You are a ****er BFS other club has the same problem,
Lee,Oxford,Boothe,Cole,Alfitano Jarvis not tired only of watching you embarrass us
    BFS MUST GO NOW.

  • ulsterhammer says:

Firstly if they were tired why didn’t he make subs at half time when we were crying out for it. secondly nolan who was just terrible didn’t play midweek so tiredness doesn’t make sense, same with noble. And for him to say that anyone who criticises the players doesn’t know football is a joke he’s calling us deluded again. Get this ogre out of our club now. seasons over in February

  • rads45 says:

So we lose 4-0 to WBA & Sam says he wasnt shocked followed by a load of lame excuses.WBA also played in what were arguably more stressful & important games than us this week with regards to relagation, but they didnt appear to be suffering from this mental & physical lethargy. The Sammerettes on here can defend him all they want but Nolan was an absolute joke today. We pay good money week in week out & to hear BFS come out with the term i wasnt shocked is out of order & the tiredness remark is just a simple get out to deflect any blame anyway from him & his sophisticated tactics, formations & ability.Another season with no trophy for Sam,but we shouldnt be surprised should we.

  • pabloonechop says:

Even when we are s*** he still thinks he is right. Seems to me Mr flexible tactics got it horribly wrong today as he did first half against Hull. If he was as big as he thinks he would admit it and people might have more time for him. A dinosaur and a chancer. Abusing Sullivan however not on – he might even agree about BFSam.

  • davetarbuck says:

Fed up with Sam any tme we ask a question he tell us we dont understand football .Im not a top chef but I know when ive had a bad meal , such a nasty big headed man, I hope and prey the Club dont keep him next year

  • Ironworks says:

The only thing flexible about BFS is his ability to bend the truth and deflect all blame away from himself.

  • Dainon17 says:

Lets hear from Crackpot – Where are all the BFS lovers tonight

    • rads45 says:

Haha,i was just about to say the that The Dinosaur lovers were nowhere to be seen today.Obviously trying to build up their cases to justify this poor performance & Allardyces lame, arrogant comments in his post match interview 😉

  • conkerpot says:

I was at the game. Gutted. Unlike you who seems to be very happy now you have for the first time this season a genuine reason to have a moan.

  • conkerpot says:

Strange how when we win you haven’t got much to say.

  • conkerpot says:

Genuine supporters don’t walk out the griund half way through a game or have a go at david sullivan either. They stay and support their team til the end. Too many quitters and moaners about these days. Sam was right to try and deflect the blame away from his players. Believe me this game would have done nothing for morale or confidence.

    • baddowhammer says:

Great suppot today, heard you boys loud and clear.Got to say im 100% behind you.True Hammer. C.O.Y.I.

  • NorthDevHammer says:

Sick to death of pathetic excuses from BFS. It was just the same when we last played West Brom on New Year’s Day with him saying we were tired after the Christmas fixtures…as if the same didn’t apply to West Brom obviously!! The truth is he may be good at keeping a club in the premier league as all the tv pundits bore us with but when it comes to ‘kicking-on’ from mid table to a top 6 position he is totally clueless and out of his depth. The Chairmen really need to start looking for his replacement now so at the end of the season his successor is in place to strengthen the team in readiness for the next campaign.

  • rads45 says:

Keep living in your Allardyce Paradise Conkerpot.I am also gutted about the result. But unlike you i dont turn a blind eye to the obvious issues involving the management of Sam.You seem to take peoples dissatisfaction as a lack of support for the club.I would say its the total opposite. We dont try to imagine everything is rosie & carry on regardless. There are clear issues you dont want to see.We all support the team, its Sam we dont like.Big difference 😉

  • conkerpot says:

You’re not gutted rads45. You was positively gloating. How long have you been waiting for a big loss like that so you can stick the knife in? You didn’t even watch the game did you. I think Infact that you BFS boys are probably spurs supporters or something.

  • rads45 says:

Yeah sure Conker.I have spent more money following this great club across the country than i want to even think of over the years, through think & alot of thin.My loyalty over the years to The Irons can never be questioned. But it doesnt mean i have to like the manager does it?.You seem to be under the illusion that there is a minority who dont like Sam.Just because you can see no wrong in him doesnt mean others should have to worship his every decision as well.

  • rads45 says:

If you think Sam is good for this club then i think you must be the spud,on here to promote Sams greatness so all believe he is the messiah you think he is.Unlike Matte you wont bully me off here with your inane comments about being a spud. Most people on here think you are a ******** anyway so it aint a problem 😉

  • joe7211 says:

the thing is O ****EN BRIAN when we are chasing a game at half time it was not just 2-0 it was lucky to be only 2-0 so something needed doing but he came out with the same team and formation and hoped for the best when a strong and decisive men would have made 3 changes there and then positive moves like cole on for Nolan amalfitano for Noble bring the new guy center defence and put kiota in the midfield so CONKERPOT don’t talk to me about loyalty mate I just got in now from the match i am ****en tired 200 quid lighter and ****en ****ed of even more so I got a ticket for the ***S game and you can see how much I am looking forward to it

  • S D I A says:

When Icome on here I read the comments and I always agree with conkerpot I don’t think rads45 really knows what he’s talking about allardyce has been great to us this year. Alright today was a poor result but it’s the first time you actually have something to moan about I’m fed with you and rugby irons with your anti Sam comments don’t you have one good thing to say about the bloke? The obvious thing I would say is that we are sitting eighth In the league Coyi

  • rads45 says:

No i aint got a clue.Never played football in my life.Understand nothing about team selection, formations ot tactical awareness.Never even been involved in the game.Think what you want, but taking this squad we have to eigth is no massive achievement. This team has the ability to be a top class outfit given half a chance. The fact i dont like Sams selections & team set up is my opinion, but one many have the same thoughts on.I have supported this team all over england over many years.I will say what i want.I aint in the minority who are fed up with Sam,it has been the same since The Championship.People just have short memories. If there is no issue why has there been for the last three years a reluctance to have Sam as the boss. Why did the chairmen have to have a rethink over the summer as to the way we played football & take a more hands on approach to the signings. Its simple, people dont like him or his antiquated management. But lie you say,i aint got a clue what im on about.

  • TysonM says:

Dont worry Rads45.I regularly read the blogs on here.I understand your frustrations totally. We all know that Nolan is a liability & Sams decisions are peculiar to say the least. If this club is to become the European contender the Chairmen want then things do need to be done.Without fans showing their feelings then we will plod on in mid table for many years to come.Clearly there is mounting frustrations amongst many fans.Maybe some supporters want nothing from West Ham more than a middle of the road team.Fortunately we have chairmen who want more than many so called experts on here!

  • conkerpot says:

    Thank you SDIA.

  • mattefumi69 says:

Yesterday I decided to leave this blog thanks to a racist called CONKERPOT. Just beacause I’m talian, he thinks I’m associated with mafia, that Italy is reigned by Famillies with a Padrino and other stereotypes. But then I thought “Why I should leave this blog? Just beacause of a brainless monkey?” Absolutely no. So please CONKERPOT you can call me mafioso, don, padrino, but don’t ever call me BFS. Thanks. I guess tonight you’re celebrating Valentine’s day with him celebrating his current glorious victory… Have fun! Now you can say what you want, your thought for me is zero. And reading your last posts I’m happy you are still the same… Thanks to people like you, as Tyson wrote, West Ham can only aspires to mediocre positions.

  • TysonM says:

Yes,MatteFumi.I believe we have been subjected to such mediocore football over the years people are wanting only to not be relegated. The Chairmen want more, many fans want more.In Sam Allardyces managerial career he has taken a team into Europe in one season,no trophies & a bland style of play.If some are content with this it is their choice. The Chairmen want more & will see it cannot be achieved with Mr.Allardyce at the helm.I will not berate him, just say it how it is.He was fortunate to keep his job last year through true loyalty shown by the Chairmen.I am not so sure he is repaying such loyalty & the investment made by the board in both player recruitment or his huge wage packet.I think after being in the top four half way through the season wil it not now be pretty poor to finish middle table. But many will take it as success,i see it as a lost opportunity of which Allardycee must take a fair bit of blame.Maybe i am wrong,i am just expressing my thoughts in writing.

  • HammerJeff says:

Guys, remember we all support the same team – but have differing opinions! I know Hugh would not be happy with racist comments or the swearing, so it needs to be reigned in a bit or like Ive said before it will start getting moderated again and all your comments will get read before going live! Just saying, and for the record I’m not a Sam or Nolan fan, no player turned up today except Morgan, then he had a rush of blood to the head!

Let’s take some time out to remember the extended West Ham family who are grieving after tragic events today.. As ever, COYI

  • @mattefumi69: I apologise personally to you for the remarks from a correspondent on behalf of ClaretandHugh. We may need to return to moderating given their hugely unpleasant nature. Once again our apologies.

  • TysonM says:

Well said Hugh,it was indeed a pathetic comment posted.Nice to see you apoligise for the majority of us who were cringing seeing a fellow west ham supporter representing us in such a poor light.I for one dont wish to be associated with this rubbish when someone from another country takes an interest in our fantastic club. You have shown a bit of class Mr.Southon,congrats.

  • bubs says:

Don’t understand conkerpot, you need to see someone mate and sort out your problem,if it’s because you are affronted about the name BFS is it because you have a weight problem ?or were you bullied at school or were you the bully ?
There are people out there that can help mate don’t sit back and suffer,

  • mattefumi69 says:

I just want to say “thank you”, especially to Hugh, you are a true gentleman. I was not born “anti-Allardyce”, but I became thanks to his snooty attitude and prehistoric football. Obviously I’m not a football guru and my opinion may not be shared, but I’m here only for the good of West Ham and I hope, also thanks to our little contribution, our club continues to grow up, until to achieve great successes.
