Allardyce ponders D-day options

|

sam_allardyce_2093173cSam Allardyce has given no clue who he will bring in to the club but admits a short-term deal or a loan contract” is possible on Deadline Day

The manager said: “We’ll see what’s there and if it’s something worth doing then we’ll take a look.

“With Andy Carroll’s injury, we’ll know more once we’ve had the scan but it’s too early to guess how serious or non-serious it is. We’ll know better in the next few days.

“We were already without James Tomkins, Carl Jenkinson, Cheik Kouyate and Diafra Sakho and now these three new injuries have left us pretty thin.

“It seems Kouyate has a bit of an ankle injury and we didn’t really know the extent of that until he arrived back in the country on Friday afternoon.

“We were expecting him to be available for the bench as cover in central defence at Liverpool as both Doneil Henry and Reece Burke were injured in our Under-21s game.

He told the official site: “If Andy is out we can probably cope up front if Sakho comes back with Carlton and Enner, but in defence we need at least two of the players back for Sunday’s game against Manchester United. It’s where we suffered last year and we’ve hit that problem again.”

Reid has been linked with a deadline day move to Tottenham but Allardyce is desperate for him to stay at least until the summer.

    What ‘Relegation’ Roger’s number?

Blimey, I’ve just been reading Twitter – I was only joking about ‘Relegation’ Roger!

      Spooky or what!

Do you read BFS words? ” IF ANDY IS OUT we can probably cope up front if Sakho comes back with Carlton and Enner”. What does it mean? Carroll is always his first choice. Sakho and Valencia will never paly together again, only if his lover Carroll is injured. I’m really frustrated by this dynosaur… What does he have in his brain? Nothing exept s..t!

The points we have will be enough don’t let Allardyce waste a penny.Let the Davids buy any youngster they need if they want but not Allardyce.keep the money until the the summer when he has gone.

  • mattefumi69 says:

Yes rugby, I agree with you. Money will be for next manager to build a different team and selling Carroll and Nolan we could have much more.
