Anderson Burnley worry

|

Manuel Pellegrini is ready to welcome Marko Arnautovic back to first team squad at Burnley this Sunday.

Confidence is high the striker will be ready to play some part at Turf Moor as the Irons look for their sixth win in seven outings.

Marko has been training but,as is always the case with the maverick Austrian, the decision will be left with him as to whether he considers himself ready to join the action.

It will be a huge boost if the striker can start but there are now new worries over yesterday’s two goal hero Felipe Anderson who took a knock in the second half of the game against Southampton.

And although he looks likely to be okay there remain worries that as is sometimes the case with dead legs his injury could worsen over the next couple of days.

A senior source told us by e mail: “Arnie should take part at the weekend. but there is a small doubt on Anderson.

He he got a knock early in the second half  but played on. We are keeping our fingers crossed it doesn’t worsen as is sometimes the case.”

Pelle has said he will be rotating and resting players during December and January. I think that should include Anderson. Even though Anderson has been the player to make a difference in games recently I don’t think he should play every single game. Antonio could play left wing for the game he is rested in. Or give Nathan Holland a run out.

Agree Clive, Anderson needs a break put him on the bench, play Antonio left wing and Zaba at right back, if the game goes against us bring him on.

Time for Xande Silva to get a run out.
