Anderson pips Rice to top spot in ratings

Felipe Anderson pipped Declan Rice to the Claret and Hugh man of the match this week with an average rating of 8.45 from many hundreds of Claret and Hugh readers votes in our regular player rating scoring system. Declan Rice was not far behind scoring an impressive average score of 8,38 in the West Ham away victory against Southampton.

Fabianski was the only other West Ham player to score in the eights with an impressive performance which earned him a score of 8.28. Best of the sevens was Issa Diop on an average score of 7.51 followed by Aaron Cresswell on 7,34 and Robert Snodgrass on 7.32.

Finishing off the sevens was Michail Antonio on 7.26 and Angelo Ogbonna on 7.02.

Those who fared less well in the ratings this week was Pedro Obiang who scored 6.66, Grady Diangana 5.67, Mark Noble 5.55 and Andy Carroll 5.53. The lowest average score of the week was awarded to Lucas Perez on 5.21 who missed a golden chance in front of goal on Wednesday night.

    Well deserved, he should have had a few other higher awards, the only thing he does that is not in line with what most of us want is shy away from 50/50’s but if I am honest I don’t want him flying into them and getting injured like Wilshere if we have to win the ball back a couple more times but he is available to influence the match I will take that all day long, well done Felipe COYI !!!
