Anderson rumours persist

|

Rumours and reports continue to persist that West Ham and Lazio are locked in talks over the departure of  Hammer Felipe Anderson, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer man made the claim on his personal Twitter profile on Sunday evening [04/07/21].

He wrote: “Lazio are progressing in negotiations to sign Felipe Anderson from West Ham. Talks are ongoing between the two clubs, personal terms are already agreed.”

Another report by TMW  claimed the return of Brazilian Felipe Anderson to Lazio is now very close. The player can join on a free transfer with a 50% sell on fee.

Just seven days ago Claret and Hugh were told by a club insider that no inquiries had been received from anywhere for the Brazilian who failed to impress at West Ham and on loan at Porto.

A senior source inside the London Stadium made it clear to CandH that there is no truth in the Lazio story at all when the story first broke.

The club have resigned themselves that they remain stuck with a player who has another year on his contract and may even be heading into a mutual pay off.

We know things can change quickly in the world of transfers but we still give this tale a big health warning until we hear otherwise.

You know what’s holding this up, waiting for Anderson to choose what style of bench and what type of wood it’s made from so he can sit and watch as sub!

If he goes, good riddance. Chances are we asked for a fee, and lazio asked us to part sub his high wages for three years, so now, no fee to get him off the books. Him, yarmalenko, and Reid is almost 300K a week in wages for deadwood
