Another midfielder ?
The Irons are reported to be in discussions for the Atletico Nacional midfielder Jhon Solis
The Columbian website Caracol claims that both West Ham and Brighton have been in talks with the club to sign the 18 year old.
Solis broke into the Nacional first team in 2022 after being an academy regular but earned a regular starting positions from the start of 2023.
He has now made 24 league appearances since 2022 and has featured seven times for his country at youth level.
He is held in high regard by Atletico Nacional and if we do pick him up, he falls in “the definitely one for the future” category.
As pointed out before, we seem to be determined to make up for lost time and finish this Summer transfer window with a bang.
