West Ham are sweating on Michail Antonio’s groin injury clearing upĀ over the next two weeks as he bids to return to full training.
The medics are very optimistic that will be the case but should there be snags last season’s Hammer of the Year could face TWO operations!
David Moyes has revealed that it will take 14 days for the club to know where they are with the injury which remains a threat over the player’s season.
ClaretandHugh has learned thatĀ should he still be struggling at the end of a fortnight a “simple” operation will be required which would keep him out of action for a further month.
However, that particular operation is not totally guaranteed to cure the problem and a second bout of surgery could be required which carries a cast-iron certainty of full recovery.
The club is adopting a wait and see approach but may then be approach over the next fortnight before deciding whether to go straight for the “guaranteed” surgery option which would ensure that a month came off his recovery programme.
Hate to be a killjoy but there is no such thing as guaranteed surgery it should be the last resort.
Completely agree 32 there is no such thing & he still hasn’t recovered from last surgery.
I’m guessing this is a hernia issue. We saw how much that and under-fitness affected Noble last year. Hope he gets better asap, is a devastating player on form.
Groin as stated Master. Word guaranteed in quotes 32 for that reason
