have been hit by an injury to Michail Antonio during the match between Jamaica and Canada this afternoon. The Hammers No 9  left the action after just 18 minutes of the game won by the Canadians 2-1. Michail appears to have suffered a hammie and if that turns out to be the case it really is bad news as these always take sometime to be fixed. David Moyes – with only Jarrod Bowen and Danny Ings now available as emergency and a back-up striker options –   could now however be be forced into giving Divin Mubama some minutes if Mikey is facing lengthy time on the side lines. At this point there is no further news than that but we will be doing our best to bring you more detail as it emerges

David Moyes will be keeping his hopes up regarding the fitness of  Mikey who had completed just over the quarter of an hour before heading straight down the tunnel with a hamstring issue. The speed of his departure made it seem that perhaps the injury was perhaps serious  The centre-forward has made an appearance in all 12 of West Ham’s Premier League fixtures this season notching two goals and two assists.
