Antonio receives highest rating of the season

Michail Antonio scored the first nine score of the season in his one man show against Southampton.

The 26-year-old was voted Claret and Hugh man of the match with a score of 9.03 averaged over 300 users.

Angelo Ogbonna was second placed with an average score of 7.41 with goal scorer Sebastian Haller the only other seven score with an average score of 7.39.

Top of the sixes was Fabian Balbuena on 6.96, followed by Pablo Fornals on 6.88.

Skipper Mark Noble was next on an average score 6.74 followed by Aaron Cresswell on 6.67 and Declan Rice on 6.61.

David Martin on 6.45 and Robert Snodgrass on 6.09 were the last of the West Ham player rating six scores.

Ryan Fredericks on an average score of 5.96 was the only five score.

Readers were unimpressed with two players, one player was Yarmolenko who only managed an average score of 3.95 while the worst rating was reserved for Carlos Sanchez on 3.94.

Manuel Pellegrini received a slightly improved rating of 5.71 while the referee was marked down to 3.45 and VAR even lower to 2.25 after missing two penalties.

    Can’t complain about the goals VAR ruled out, but for Jon Moss (the VAR) to miss a chokehold and a shove is scandalous. Then they roll Dermot Gallagher out on telly to say he “saw nothing in them” when they were “clear and obvious” to everyone else! Should’ve had penalties vs Norwich and Arsenal IMO too.
    Also, the threshold for booking our players seems very low, given what players like Kane get away with.
