O He has just signed a new contract so rip that carrot that the Chinese are dangling in front of him and tell him sorry but your not leaving for anything less than 40m and let him go on strike. Ban him from club and fine him two weeks wages every month.
O How much does the greedy ……. need? He’s already a millionaire! He doesn’t need to “work” now for the rest of his life! Get rid and get someone in who wants to play for the club. Finally, it’s laughable he has a “loyalty” bonus written in his contract!
O I say let him rot with the under 23s. Tell him his career is over go play with the kids. Enough is enough.
O Is it now not worth giving a player more than a rolling years contract. If a player wants to go the club is left helpless. Time the PFA did something about these situations.
O On a positive it may encourage Gomez to sign… who would want to work with him.can’t imagine he would be an easy guy to get along with.
O If the club allows this to happen they will regret it in the long run. Every player will know how to break a contract and make big money. If he wants to leave then let him make up the difference out of the huge wages he will get. The Chinese club are only offering big wages because they get him on the cheap. In effect WHU are subsidizing the wages by letting him go on the cheap.
O If he goes on the cheap then we don’t have to pay Stoke anything because we’ve made no profit from the deal, plus think of the wages will be saving each year.
O If it’s only twenty upfront then surely another 3 or 4 per year on top which can come out of his wages. Plus a 60% sell on clause. And in the meantime both he and his brother are banned from all WHU facilities. No training whatsoever.
There’s no loyalty or morals in football anymore, I say the club should get rid asap or it will re’occur again and again, it gets me that he’d rather play in a sub standard league rather than one of the best leagues in the world only for one reason the filthy lucre, how much money does he want, he earns more money than most of us can imagine already, modern football leaves me cold.
I hate it when people say “stick him in with the kids”. Why should the youngsters have to put up with the poisonous, greedy, lying traitor. Why should he be put in a position to ruin their great team spirit and camaraderie. No let him train on his own so he can’t pollute anyone else’s atmosphere. He’s a disrespectful lying snake.
