Arnie makes all the difference in Vienna

|

Marko Arnautovic scored the only goal of the game as Austria beat Northern Ireland on Friday night.

The Hammers striker who was made the captain of the Austrian side put one past Northern Ireland’s goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell with just 19 minutes to go, despite appeals from Northern Ireland the offside flag stayed down.

They return to action on Tuesday when they face Denmark in an away friendly although Arnautovic is likely to be rested for that game.

Arnie’s goal takes his native Austria to second in Nations League B Group 3, three points behind leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina.
