Arnie moaner needs to give it a rest

|

Here’s the official definition of the word pundit:

O an expert in a particular subject or field who is frequently called upon to give their opinions to the public.

Former Liverpool player Phil Thompson is considered a pundit  but his latest little outburst surely denies any rights he has to claims of expertise.

Someone once said “An ex is a former something and a spert” is a drip” and for the Sky Sports regular  to suddenly pipe up on the very easy target of Marko Arnautovic is really predictable and misinformed.

All the familiar criticisms are trotted out which hardly qualify as “expert ” views and it’s surprising that a former pro should decide to attack the bloke at a time when he’s just starting to find some real form again and hopefully put his troubles behind him.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Gillette Soccer Saturday Show Thompson had this to say: “Away from West Ham. Absolutely. You can’t rely upon someone whose mind is set for anything that might come up every couple of months and he might want to go.

“I see him being a problem in the dressing room when he’s like that. He’s certainly affected them just after the January transfer window.”

Unnecessary and really old criticisms of which we are all aware. Destructive rather than constructive and carrying no real message that hasn’t been mentioned a hundred times before.

When discussing a move Thompson also needs to remember that there has been absolutely nothing from anywhere other than some manufactured Chinese bid so a move as he heads into his thirties looks increasingly unlikely

Give it a rest mate!

Arnie is poison, real fans can see that. Antonio is just as effective and not a lazy spoilt brat, get Arnie out of West Ham. How can anyone defend a player who gets a massive pay rise and then behaves like he’s too good for us, send him to China, he’s not irreplaceable. 2 goals in 11 appearance’s since being given a £200,000 a week, if you think that’s value for money then you need your head examined. This website has gone down in my estimation, your like religious fanatics with a 12 year old mentality, blind faith carries you through.

i am one who totally agrees with you on this
loyalty costs nothing when as we all could see what his brother was up to but hey what do i know and it will happen again unless he is allowed to leave at the right price.
i take no light in saying it but he has done this time and time again and he was loved by the fans who he was with at the time.
at 30yrs old he either leaves or puts a proper shift in and i dont care either way at that sort of money

    Where’s my comment, gutless losers

Maybe not so gutless, I take that back

Nothing wrong with what he said. He’s paid to give an opinion on what is being discussed. Not an anti West Ham thing. Personally I make him right. Arnautovic has shown his true colours and it didn’t take long, he’s done it before and it wouldn’t surprise me if he does it again. I hope he does well, it keeps his value up but if a good offer comes in, get rid. We need players who are about West Ham not out for themselves.
