Arsenal get bad news ahead of West Ham United clash

|

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta  has declared that William Saliba is unlikely to  play no part in Sunday’s clash against the Irons at the London Stadium.

The France international has still not recovered after missing three League games since suffering a back injury in the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon.

The Gooners boss  told Friday’s pre-match press conference, that Eddie Nketiah was available for selection again, but that Saliba was highly likely to miss the London derby.

Meanwhile David Moyes has paid tribute to his former Everton star saying declaring that he always knew how he wanted his football played and that he has also received a great education from Pep (Guardiola), he’s been able to go and work under one of, if not the best, managers in the world.

He said: “It’s a great indication and he will see a lot of things and he has got his own thoughts as well. He’s been a very talented player and he’s been able to put over things about his playing style which he wants in his own team.

“I think Mikel was always someone who had his own thoughts and was a very good player. He was a great player for me at Everton and helped us take Everton up the league and move Everton up as a football club. I will always be grateful for how well he did for me at Everton.

Moyes added that is looks very much as though Arsenal are quite relentless as well as they are playing really well  when going away from home and beating top teams.
