Away ballot suffers technical failure

|

Away ballots for Brighton and Watford have suffered major technical issues with West Ham’s ticketing partner Ticketmaster causing many supporters to miss out on tickets.

Claret and Hugh were contacted by concerned supporters to say they had missed out on tickets with one saying the ticket office had told them that only 27 tickets were allocated by the Ticketmaster ballot system for the Brighton game.

Yesterday the club issued an announcement on their West Ham Help Twitter account saying “Supporters who applied for tickets in the Watford and Brighton ballot, Ticketmaster are still working to resolve the technical issues. You will not need to reapply if you have already entered. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.”

Ticketmaster were due to upgrade their systems ahead of the new Premier League season to introduce a number of new features for the Ticketing website but it appears they are struggling with the new software already.
