Big reasons why Irons can beat Manchester City

There are three or four very good reasons why the lads and manager will be desperate and can beat Manchester City on Sunday.

The most obvious of course will be to get within three points of Manchester United in sixth place given that should they be beaten by Palace on the last day and we beat Brighton we will return to a season of Europa League football.

Beyond that one can imagine that Moysie would love nothing more than to deprive his former club of competing in that competition given they gave him the boot!

No 2 reason: There’s not going to be a player out there in claret and blue who won’t want to give Nobes anything but a win on his final home game ever as a Hammer.

And given the “impossible ” achievements so far this season don’t ever rule out how emotionally motivating that will be.

No 3 reason: Recent results against City aren’t anywhere near as devastating over the last two seasons as we HAD become used to.

We lost just 2-1 up there before kicking them out of the Carabao Cup and last season lost by the same margin on their patch whilst drawing 1-1 on ours.

They have some key injuries this time around but like us reacted brilliantly to their devastating  European defeat in Madrid o at the weekend.

It’s gonna be one hell of an afternoon and I reckon at least a draw will be on.
