Bilic gets Chicharito nudge from Irons media team!

|

Hernandez is different level

The West Ham media team may have been sending Slaven Bilic a not so coded message when describing Chicharito’s input to the Mexico World Cup campaign.

In reporting the striker’s contribution to the game against Trinidad on the Irons official website the writer made it clear perhaps where his feelings laid on using the player wide on the left.

The piece  declared: ‘Chicharito gave a good performance, with his usual dangerous moves inside the box, and crowned it with a beautiful header in the 88th minute after Trinidad goalkeeper Adrian Foncette had palmed away a shot by Jesús Corona,”

The use of words clearly won’t be lost on Bilic whose eye may well have been attracted to the line ‘with his usual dangerous moves inside the box’

Famed for his close-range finishing, the manager’s decision to play him on the periphery of the attack with Andy Carroll taking the main striker’s role continues to go down like a lead balloon among Irons fans.
