Bilic gives assurance on home form

|

SBilSlaven Bilic is convinced the Hammers home sickness will come to an end declaring: “We are going to get there.”

The three great away wins have cranked up the pressure to deliver at Upton Park where thus far we have only managed four points.

But Bilic insisted: “We are going to get there. At the end of the season we will have more home  than away wins.”

The manager, however, is clearly working on a pattern of play at home which will, according to chairman David Sullivan, involve passing from the back and takes time to develop.

Bilic has clearly heard the discontent inside the ground and on the social networks and has again been pretty clear on his assessment of it in another very straightforward appraisal of the situation.

He said: “But after beating Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City away, people are expecting us to beat Norwich 6-0. It doesn’t happen like that.”

We need to sort out our tactics,it’s great going to a top team and building from the back and hitting on the break, but when we get home other teams approach there game the same and we are pushing up when they back, off and making mistakes with an over crowded midfield,
Even Leicester let us go on the attack and hit us with quick attacks,
We need to address each games and use the players and tactics,
Saying all that I am a content little camper with our team playing quality footballll entertaining and just slipping up with the odd mistake,

After the two home defeats he said he was going to turn it round, and he did against Liverpool, city, and Newcastle. Those three wins have bought him a long amount of time in my book, and ok we seem to be struggling at home against teams we all probably expect to beat, but I’m prepared to believe we will get our home sorted out sooner or later and when we do we are going to give some teams a right good thumping. first though we need to learn how to keep hold of the ball. We can’t play park the bus at home. It’s uncomfortable viewing. The crowd get restless and the players get nervous. We can cure that by improving possession. we can’t keep being in possession of the ball half the amount of time as the opposition and relying on goals on the counterattack.
