He’s currently training with the outfit and Lustig believes the former Chelsea and Charlton man has much to offer the squad.

He said: “I don’t think he has played for a little while, but you can still see he’s a good playe. He’s e xperienced and he looks very good in the box.

“He’s done really well down south and he brings us something that we don’t have right now. He’s a box player and is maybe stronger in the air. You always want new additions that can make the playing squad better.”

If he is as fit as we brought him back he will be match fit by January ?
If he wants to play he should get his head down and get a couple of more years behind him
If he wants a new carrier in coaching many good coaches have come through the Scottish
    Football
Big chance Carlton grab it with both hands after what happened to you in January ( thanks
    Sam )

The Scottish prem would be a good move for CC, he doesn’t cut it as a PL player (anymore) and the standard up there falls a fair way short compared to the PL & he could well shine at Celtic. Sign for them & he will win silverware , the only other choice would be MLS or Championship & as the US transfer system has shut there is really only one other option if he wants to play now (when match fit). Good luck CC & well done over ther last few years.
