Bilic makes a pledge to raise our hopes

|
Hopefully this is what we are about to see!!!

Hopefully this is what we are about to see!!!

Slaven Bilic is sure that we are about to see vastly improved performances from a thus far generally lethargic West Ham team.

And he admits that whilst he believes we are getting better, the team has not always been good to watch.

Now, however, if he is to be believed things are about to change with the squad ready to start increasing our pulse rates in the correct way!

He said: “So, are we improving? Definitely. Was it always good to watch? No, but the aim now is to maintain that compactness but be more expansive. With the players we have available, I am sure we can do that.

All these things together are making this place, this club, this squad more confident. So, now I have to make decisions on who plays and who doesn’t.

That is not always nice, but it is impossible to keep everyone happy long term. It’s way better, though, than having no options.”

Long term ?? Another sakho reference ???
Personally I don’t thik having a full squad to pick from will alter anything ! He’s going to rely on noble Carroll Antonio and lanzini , and when it is not working he will swallow his pride and chuck sakho on to save him ?? Again!!!
Sakho must start today with the pea IMO? 😉

      Sakho and Chicharito. Yes please.

    • Max Willow says:

Totally agree with the Sakho and Chicharito starting combination..
If he starts with Noble and Carroll, it is equivalent to playing two men down from the start.
How can Slav make such positive pledges based on aberrant thinking?

    • Max Willow says:

One feels that Slav doesn’t really value Sakho, as a decent manger should!

Or maybe he knows Sakho will try to move on in January ? At least with Carroll being sent off unless he appeals successfully we will hopefully see Sakho and Hernandez together in the next match.

Well its still lethargic 10 men or not ! And if that’s the best he can get out of this squad then he should go ! Lanzini Arnie , cresswell ( can’t defend ) Carroll , didn’t do enough , pea looked lost again coming deep because of no service , and Reid and font managed to let zabba defend against wood for most of the crosses and the inevitable eaualiser came ! No crystal ball needed , bilic ain’t up to it ! Sakho and massuaku didn’t oblige today ? I wonder why ?
And the pea and lanzini weren’t happy either , obiang a plus and Carroll getting sent off gives the bias bilic no choice but to play sakho from the off ! If the owners are happy with this then they need to go as well! It seems like the team has no umppff , no direction !! Fitness and speed of pass and closing down are non existent , still a point is a point I suppose ?
And the ref is a hackney marshes Muppet !! Not premier league !!!a joke !!!!!
