Board plan for ‘aggressive’ manager action

|

Slaven_BilićWest Ham’s board will “aggressively” tackle the appointment of a new manager towards the middle of April.

ClaretandHugh understands the board has no limit on the number of candidates they are ready to consider but the list will be narrowed down to the most suitable three or four closer to the end of season.

The club expect to be ready to move in with offers for their top candidates in late April or early May.

We have learned, however, that although Rafa Benitez was virtually everybody’s top choice, he  is unlikely to make the move.

We were told: “The club would love him but he’s not overly keen on coming and is a £6 million manager minimum anyway. Slaven Bilic is very much in the frame but agents are looking right across Europe at suitable candidates.”

“They are on a  timetable as the club will be ready to move aggressively once they have the candidates in place.”

I’m really happy about this news. It means the owners have finally realized BFS is not the right manager so that we can finally make a quantum leap and after the game today this fact is even more evident. I’m sure they will make the right choice, Bye Bye BFS, now you can wherever you want, I’m sorry for your next team…

If you are correct HUGH and the board are now looking for a new manager then my weekend just got better,
I now have got to the stage I don’t care who gets the job as long as I don’t have to listen to another excuse from BFS why we lost or through a way winning position because he can’t get his tactics right,

  • sibbo says:

cant wait for him to go he is clueless

I dont care whether pro BFS say that there is an out brigade against him.So what if there is.His substitution today was one of the dopiest ones i have ever seen. How can anyone earn 3+mill a year do something so ridiculous.Everyday he hammers another nail in his own coffin.

Why wait till the end of the season – just put him on gardening leave and give one of the current coaching team the remit to play attractive attacking football.

Good point johnham1, We are safe and the team virtually picks itself now, what with Carroll & Cole injured, can’t play the Sam way with those two injured can we.
Put him on gardening leave and as soon as Besiktas are out of the Europa League, sign up Bilic who can then bed in until next season.
