West Ham’s board will await Slaven Bilic’s summer shopping list before making any moves into the transfer market.
Despite admitting having a list of around a dozen possible striker targets the manager is expected to soon supply his priority list.
David Sullivan has admitted he likes Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a talkSport interview and Christian Benteke is known to be another player the chairman admires.
But it’s not until Slaven gives the word that any meaningful moves will be made as has always been the case with the club’s managers.
Discussing the various names that have been thrown into the ring last night co-chairman David Gold said: ” There is no problem discussing the various names but it’s all about Slaven and what he decides. We are still waiting to see his priority list.
“The board will await that and take things from there as has always been the case. There is no rush and we will see what Slaven requires and go from there. “The manager is obviously the key person in this process.”
I heared Leo Chambers is going to be let go in the summer bubs.
If the reports are correct we have nearly signed a very exciting talent, the young Valencia lad will be a great capture even though he is not the finished article he has great future and will be the next Samulsun,we need to probably loan him for a year to get used to English football then he will be ready,
The list could be a small one at this rate, might mean the end of Lee
Good to see Chambers progression as well another good young defender knocking on the door,
I really hope not, lets stick to what is working, young, proven with loads of potential. I would like to see a RB, replacement for Song if he leaves, Tore from Turkey and a young proven striker on the list.
I bet Benteke or Ibrahmovic aren’t on Slav’s shopping list.
