Boleyn Ground’s future discussed tonight

Boleyn GroundThe Boleyn Ground’s future is to be discussed at a public meeting tonight.

The Irons stadium will be demolished once West Ham United move to the Olympic Stadium at the end of next season, with a new property development set to take its place.

And the Newham Recorder reports: “The meeting, which has been organised by Community Links, Newham Citizens and Transform Newham, will allow residents, businesses and others in the community to have their say on the proposals.

Galliard Group, who have bought the site, intend to build retail and leisure facilities as well as the new homes and a community garden.

It is taking place at Latimer Hall, Cleves Road from 5.30pm to 7pm.
