Bowen scored three goals this month, netting twice in the 2-0 win over Norwich, and also scoring against Leeds in the eventual 3-2 defeat.

He remained a constant threat throughout the loss to Manchester United as well, while he played his part in the victory over Crystal Palace.

He is up against a varied selection of fellow nominees.

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, Leeds United’s Jack Harrison, Wolves’ Joao Moutinho and Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse are also up for consideration.
