Brentford arrive with sad stats

|

By Hughie Southon

West Ham go into the game against Brentford on Friday night with every chance of a result given the south west London outfit’s form over recent weeks.

We may have lost four on the trot but the Bees, despite being in 10th place, have found victories very hard to come by since September.

However, there has been a small turnaround over the last couple of games – a win at Manchester City and a draw against Spurs – which would have been a win had they held onto a two goal lead.

Before those two results though Thomas Frank’s outfit had lost three and drawn six which included a 1-1 against Gillingham in the EFL Cup which they finally lost on penalties.

None of that has stopped the Bees board from awarding their manager a new five year deal at the club.

Hopefully though we can rely on Declan and Jarrod – who have claimed the team will definitely bounce back over the forthcoming games – to get the result we desperately require.
