Lucas Paqueta may be forced into legal action against the FA should they have not come to a verdict on irregular betting accusations by April.

The FA has now been looking into the situation since last August and Claret and Hugh has learned  the game’s ruling body found nothing on the telephone he surrendered to them in the form of betting messages.

Paqueta having made it clear he is not guilty of any bettering irregularities knows the longer  this drags on the less chance he has a move to Manchester City .

We have also learned – again exclusively – that Arsenal, Spurs, Aston Villa and Man United  have all made it clear bids will go in once he is free of the charges.

The player had an £80 million buy out clause inserted into his West Ham contract and will be on his way once either the FA declares its verdict or any legal action he may choose to bring himself is concluded.
