The striker everyone wants: Marshall is the outstanding player in Premier League 2

Callum Marshall has been nominated for the October Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The striker, who won the September prize having scored four goals and recorded two assists in the month, has once again been shortlisted for the monthly honour as he continued his impressive start to 2023/24.

Having struck three against Leeds United in September, Marshall scored his second hat-trick of the season as the Hammers swept Middlesbrough away in a 5-0 romp on Friday 27 October.

The Northern Ireland international, who made his home debut for his country during the October international break, has now netted 15 goals in all competitions in 2023/24.

He has scored 11 goals in his first seven Premier League 2 games.
