Carroll linked to new club

|

Andy Carroll could be heading for the United States this summer with New England Revolution a possible destination.

The MLS club are believed to be watching the striker’s position at West Ham and could be ready to make a move despite his poor injury record once he has recovered from new surgery on his ankle.

Carroll’s chances of landing a new deal or seeing the option on his present contract triggered are now at zero and he is likely to find himself  training with the Hammers in pre-season with no deal in place.

He has long been linked with a move to the States – his favourite holiday destination – and New England is now regularly being touted as the club most likely to be interested.

It seems a likely outcome for the 30 year old whose chances of landing a club in England or Europe look more than a bit thin as things stand.

Good luck to him. He deserves some, and it’s time for everyone to move on.
