Carroll sits out of training

|

carrollAndy Carroll sat out of training today as the West Ham squad prepared for Thursday’s Europa League opener against Andorran minnows FC Lusitans. Despite his inclusion in the squad for the first two legs of the first qualifying there is no chance he will be fit enough to play in either leg.

Carroll is facing a race against time to be available for the start of the Premier League campaign in August after he could only watch his team-mates during the session on Tuesday.

The striker injured his knee ligaments in February earlier this year and was ruled out for up to seven months.

I am glad you called him it Sean, after watching the program Humans how did we end up with a broken model when we brought Carroll,
Even if he is not playing on Thursday why would he sit and watch ?
Surely when you try and become fitter you Jog,Stretch,Bend sometimes run even kick a ball or are we saying he is knackered again ?

Haha,’No chance it will be fit’,Hmmm,i have always tried to find a way of describing AC politely. Now i know ‘it’ is the best option.Good enough for Sean, good enough for me,lol 😀

  • ExPat_Hammer says:

Still, he’s human. Got to be gutted.

  • Stingray Stewart says:

He will be fine.Running round like Bambi first match of The Prem season 😉

  • Baz Brushe says:

Yeah Bambi on ice.Feel sorry for the guy but im also fed up of having one of our main strikers almost permanently out crocked.

  • bubs says:

Yes I would be gutted sitting scratching my gottie wondering how I am going to spend my £80k this week,
Probably going to spend it on a meditation class with Rads and Matte and I bet he would not buy a round

  • Dainon17 says:

If it misses the start of the season it’ll be upset that’s for sure

  • Billy Hammer says:

Sorry but imo the guy is an expensive liability & if we sold him tomorrow i would be delighted if it ment we could get Austin or someone else instead.Im so bored of this injury bs.Let someone else pay the hospital bills & 80+k a week.Problem is who will buy Mr.Fragile,no else wants to pay too much for him now after seeing the last two seasons we have had him in the rest home for sickly strikers.

    • mattefumi happy hippie says:

Totally agree, I would send the bill to His dad.. Lol

Hippos prize assest of a signing, his chosen one,Sams marquee signing.Too us now though just an expensive nightmare which seems to never end

  • Radai Lama says:

Poor old AC,i try really hard to feel sorry for him which i do.My overriding feeling though is one of being totally p*ssed off with the whole situation, the transfer fee,the wages, the injuries. As it stands it is heading in the direction of be one almighty balls up 😉

  • Quickdraw on the peace pipe says:

Pretty much what Radai said but I do feel sorry for him and yes I know big wages and all the rest but I’m sure he’d love to play a full season

  • Radai Lama says:

I aint got anything against the lad, think i am just bored to tears by the whole Andy Carroll saga.It send me to sleep whenever i see anything about him 😀
