Cheers Bobby

|
BobbyUK brewer Greene King is giving England and West Ham football fans a reason to cheer with the launch
of a new beer to mark the 50th anniversary of England’s 1966 World Cup victory.
Bobby’ is a light blonde British beer dedicated to World Cup-winning England and West Ham captain,
Bobby Moore and, in a nod to the 4-2 score of the 1966 final.
Emily Prince, senior brand manager at Greene King, said: “Bobby Moore’s appeal goes
beyond team affiliations and we believe ‘Bobby’ can be the definitive beer for football
fans, whoever they support.”
The beer was developed in conjunction with creative agency Brandpool and the
producers of the movie Bo66y, which launched this summer and honours the iconic
player.
The film tells the story of the life of Bobby Moore through his family, friends and
fans, including Pele, Sir Geoff Hurst, Harry Redknapp, Ray Davies, Ray Winstone and
Russell Brand, mixed with previously unseen archive footage.
The look for the pump clip and beer mats was inspired by the movie logo.
John McWilliams, Joint Creative Director of Brandpool: “We’re thrilled to help create a
beer honouring a genuine sporting hero.” The beer will be available in cask to pubs nationwide from 30 July, in time for the start of  the new football season.

    Shame l can’t drink bitter.
Bilic now saying that we are ready for Europe!!
I beg to differ. We are several players short.
We still need a RB and a LB, and more importantly we are still waiting for a striker who can 20+ goals a season. The 2 David’s promised that when they took first took over.
Is all we have had are lots of loan signings and the infamous sick note.
Why is Antonio still playing at playing at RB????

I will definitely give this one a try, shame instead of a nod to the 4 – 2 scoreline they didn’t just go for a 6.6 % 😉 thanks for the post.
