Cherries await as Hammers look bounce back

|

So it’s time to let it go and look forward to Bournemouth – who were also stuffed in the Carabao Cup.

They are very much the Hammers bogey team having done the double over us last season and I have been unable to forget the Boxing Callum Wilson goal that never was since it happened.

We should all admire where Bournemouth are now after becoming all but extinct as a league club a few years back although on Saturday they are there to be beaten after the events of last night.

They of course will be seeing the game in precisely the same way and that will make for either a very dour game or more likely an exciting affair.

We will be back at full strength although whether Cress had performed so well at the weekend against United.

Beyond that we can expect the team that beat United in place for a highly important game which may just have draw written all over it.

Likely team: Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Rice, Noble; Yarmolenko,  Fornals, Anderson, Haller.
