Close up on Hammers man of the match

|

Danny Leach kept a close eye on Michail Antonio this afternoon ans watched him produce another man of the match performance in the deeply disappointing defeat at Selhurst Park

6 – Gives away the ball after making a poor first touch from Cresswell’s throw

15 – Caught offside as he brings down the ball after Ogbonna punts it up field

29 – Holds the ball up well as he drives forward alone against three Palace players but ultimately loses it as no one supports him

33 – Beats Kelly on the left wing cutting inside and shooting towards goal which is  our first shot of the game

36 – Shoots over  the bar from the edge of the box as Noble lays it off for him

40 – Crosses the ball in for Haller but Sakho is there to clear the ball away first

53 – Drives on the left wing beating Kelly and puts in a low cross which is cleared away

56 – GOAL – 0-1 – Keeps the ball up well before placing through ball into Snodgrass who finishes the ball in the bottom corner

Verdict – 7.5It was a valiant performance from Antonio today who was the centre of all our attacking play. He was always causing trouble for the Palace defence and was constantly bringing other West Ham players into the game. His through ball for Snodgrass was inch perfect in our only goal of the game. His first touch and shot can be a bit off sometimes. Overall it was a solid performance by Antonio and it was a shame that his team mates were not all at the same level as him today.

He’s got to go….looks like an undertaker on the sidelines couldn’t inspire me to cross the road … Palace have half there team missing. Crap squad, even worse board and a soulless bowl to play in.. Thanks to the dildo brothers and the useless Karen Brady who could not give a flying toss about us supporters one bit…..Grrrrrrrr

These are professional players I didn’t the the energy or effort needed to win a PL game.?We didn’t press and put pressure on them surely no manager should need to tell them how to do that. We are a shambles most of our losses are due to low energy , lack of effort , no press , slow passing and nor enough team work. I am not sure where we go as whoever is manager needs to kick every player up the arse . Their embarrassing and full of rubbish , they can keep saying it’s not good enough we all know that. They need to stop talking and show the effort required .
