Coventry to move on loan

|

West Ham midfielder Conor Coventry is set to go out of a season’s loan according to ExWHUemployee.

Despite a brilliant pre-season when he looked entirely at home in the first team squad it seems the manager is set to let him gain a season’s experience in the Championship.

Peterborough United have been linked with making a move for the under 23 and although there is no confirmation at this stage it seems a strong possibility that he will be on the move to London Road.

The youngster has shown great form too for the under 23s this season and director of football at the Posh, Barry Fry is a huge admirer of the player and approached David Moyes a couple of weeks ago about the loan.

At that stage, the club were delaying a decision but it seems there is growing confidence that permanent signings of midfielders Nikola Vlasic and possibly Ruben Loftus-Cheek make it the right decision.

What is the use of having a young talented Player if you do not play him. What go would Declan Rice have been if the attitude was the same when he was in the same position. If they are good enough, they are old enough. Blood a youngster now and again or cut back the amount of money spent on the Academy, because it does produce enough Players for the first team.
