Cresswell left fuming after fan incident

|

ACAaron Cresswell was left fuming after a West Ham supporter tried to steal his shirt he was trying to give a young Hammers fan on Sunday.

The 27-year-old player had just finished a lap of honour around the London Stadium to a depleted crowd after the Irons collapsed to four nil defeat.

As he approached the player’s tunnel he attempted to give his shirt to a child but an adult tried to snatch it away and the shirt was ripped.

Witnesses said there was a brief altercation between the player and the fan but the supporter made a quick escape when Cresswell challenged the man,  with the player held back by stewards.
