Cresswell/Zouma updates

|

Aaron Cresswell is now reported to be running on grass but today’s game will again come to seen for the Hammers left back.

Th 32 year old has now been missing for a month since crashing into an upright against Manchester City amid reports that he has chipped a bone in his back.

But we were told this morning that the long serving Hammers defender is hopefully close to his return despite the sometimes contradictory reports on his position.

A source said: “Obviously the medical staff are being very careful but the good news is that he is now running on grass which is a positive sign he could soon be back.”

Kurt Zouma is also reported to be back on grass and current estimates are that the big summer signing could be involved again by the end of January.

The player decided against having surgery and it seems it was a good decision with our source saying he is making much quicker than expected progress.
