Czech boss makes big Soucek Irons prediction

|

Tomas Soucek is ready for Champions League football with West Ham.

The brilliant Czech midfielder is having the most magnificent of seasons both at club and now international level,

And his national team boss has no doubts whatsoever that he can become a top player at the highest level for the Irons should the club hit the top four this season.

After a hat-trick against Estonia and a brilliant draw against the world’s No 1 rated team – Belgium – Tomas is at the very peak of his powers.

He has been the key player for his team and as captain could hardly be setting a better example of leadership as the Czechs mount a serious challenge in their group.

He has also grabbed nine Premier League goals  and has been hailed by Moyes was a major factor in us avoiding relegation last season following his arrival from Slavia Prague in January 2020.

Now Czech team boss Jaroslav Silhavy has backed Soucek to shine among Europe’s elite should the irons make the CL.
He said: “Tomas plays very well in the Premier League. I am really not surprised because he is really hard working. He’s already played in the Champions League for Slavia Prague and was very good but now he is even better.

“So I am convinced he can succeed in the Champions League with West Ham too.”
