Declan ready for brilliant return

|

Declan Rice has been discussing the upcoming match at the London Stadium between his new club and the Hammers.

It will of course be his first return since deciding that he didn’t want to stay and earned us £105 million with his much heralded departure.

And it came after he had joined Mooro in winning the club a major European trophy via the Conference competition.

Most of us may believed his exit was set to create a Hammers disaster but in reality, thanks to some great recruitment, we have become perhaps an even better team.

Dec, however, can’t wait to return and meet all his old mates declaring: “It’ll be pretty strange when I play against West Ham this season, because there are so many lads I know and get on with – they’ll be saying stuff on the pitch, I’m sure.”

“We’ve got them at the Emirates Stadium first, then at the London Stadium later in the season. It’ll be brilliant to go back there and see everyone.”

He is certain to get a great reception after the years of commitment to the club and demonstrating that there remains in a a very financially-led game a prominent place for productive club academies.

All that remains is to send him back to his north London club with his tail between his legs.

Let’s have no booing for Declan please, he only deserves respect for his time with the Hammers.

Totally agree Trueiron. And not forget, the money from his sale has led to a better team and squad.
I for one will be applauding him on his return.

I don’t think he’s going to get a great reception. Ok he might not get booed but a great reception?
