Diarra: I feel I have lost two years in my career

|

keepFormer Hammer Alou Diarra has been whinging to the French Media Lequipe about his time at West Ham.

“I am particularly happy to be back here in a club with people I appreciate where I had a good year.  I canceled my contract with West Ham, with whom remained for me one year. I want to find competition, this is all that I missed. The rest has not changed. I feel I have lost two years in a career, it counts. There was no solution. I was very ill-advised,  I left Marseilles very determined, with an international status, to bring my experience of the Champions League, the big games. I got a club  whose coach did not count on me. The dice were loaded from the start.”

Alou Diarra is believed to have walked away with a £1.25m pay off in return for him cancelling his contract.
