Diego Costa is set to miss West Ham’s away game with Chelsea next Saturday at Stamford bridge after receiving a long over-due red card this evening. The West London striker picked up two yellow cards which saw him sent off in the 84th minute of the FA Cup quarter-final with Everton.
Gareth Barry nibbled at the heels of Diego Costa and Costa reacted by squaring up to Barry with a head-charge and he appeared to think about biting him! He bared his teeth but changed his mind. The two then hugged but referee Michael Oliver booked them both. So two yellows make a red and Diego Costa was sent off for the first time in a Chelsea shirt with Barry sent off three minutes later. Many people are saying Diego Costa has just earned the most overdue red card in football history.
Diego Costa escaped punishment last March after striking Aaron Cresswell in one nil loss.
Chelsea lost the FA Cup quarter-final two nil thanks to two goals from Romelu Lukaku so we won’t be facing Chelsea at Wembley in the FA cup Semi Finals if we overcome Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
So we need to work on stopping Luluka again,or we might get Pardews boys,
This man needs serious help with his issues,no wonder Chelski want shot of him,
How did he not get a red looking at those pictures,
Never mind we need 3 points and if he is missing life is a bit easier
What an arrogant piece of sh#t. Total bully and like all bullies when he`s fronted, he plays hard done by and innocent. How he`s gone this long without a red i just know. Probably because our Ref`s avoid the confrontation and controversy whenever possible. Despicable c##t.
