West Ham supporters have given out some of the Claret and Hugh worst player ratings ever with the man of the match being eventually awarded to Felipe Anderson with an average score of just 5.91.
Five players scored ratings in the twos while another two had average scores in the ones.
Michail Antonio was the second highest rating player and runner up for West Ham man of the match with a 5.06 with Ryan Fredericks not far behind on 4.92.
Robert Snodgrass scored an average score of 4.71 with nearly 500 Claret and Hugh readers voting while goalscorer Lucas Perez received a rating of 4.67 for his efforts up front.
Moving down the threes Issa Diop scored topped the group with an average score of 3.92 with skipper Mark Noble getting a rating of 3.66.
Top of the twos was Grady Diangana with 2.98 followed by Adrian on 2.92, Javier Hernandez was awarded a poor average score of 2.61 with disappointed supporters giving Angelo Ogbonna 2.59 and Pedro Obiang 2.11.
The two worst ratings were reserved for Arthur Masuaku on 1.82 and Andy Carroll with one of worst player ratings ever on 1.73.
Time to forget Saturday and move on!
I wouldn’t have given Masuaku anything above 1 (just for turning up – although did he turn up). Ogbonna and Masuaku are the worst left sided defence in the Premiership.
I cant disagree with the ratings – but it is worth pointing out that recently Ogbonna had a pretty decent game against Arsenal witrh Cresswell outside of him – the combined killer combination was no Zaba no Cresswell and no Declan
I’d also give a 3.5 to Pellegrini – his worst performance as our manager. Seems to have decided that getting up a few higher places in the Prem was more important than a good Cup run. Totaaly wrong for me, especially as the results have panned out – another kind draw and we could have been on our way to Wembley. I’ve seen lots of comments thatt he put out a team that should have been good enough to win. I don’t know what Pelle’s seen in training but my eyes this season have told me Adrian, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Obiang, Hernandez and the awful Andy Carroll were there for the taking and so it proved. Allardyce, Bilic and Moyes would have got it in the neck on the back of that result. And I’m giving it to Pellegrini. No use saying you wanted to change the entire XI at half-time mate, you picked ’em! “In Pellegrini We Trust”- not as much as I did up to Saturday evening.
