Divin Mubama set to be forgotten again

Divin Mubama is set to be forgotten again! The teenager’s chances of playing against Spurs are  minimal to zero with David Moyes no doubt once again using Jarrod position out of position rather than giving the 19 year old any sort of chance after Burnley and Backa Topola.

Given the limitations of Moyes as a coach ready to try new options,  Mubama will be on the bench for pointless reasons as was the the case with Pablo Fornals who got two minutes plus extra time against a poor Palace team thus ensuring his appearance money!.

It is worth remembering that our best performances this season have usually come when Jarrod is used in his natural right wing position. Perhaps somebody needs to point that out to the manager too!

Several have claimed that Mubama’s touch isn’t good enough which is a big claim after only seeing the lad in first team action at Burnley and in Europe.

I fear that we shall see very much the same team against the old enemy on Thursday night as we saw on Sunday and given the way the two teams played against very different quality of oppositions  there is every reason to feel very afraid.

What this manager has managed to achieve over the last few games is to leave us without a natural striker and is fortunate Tim Steidten brough Kudus in.

So if Bowen goes to RW where does Kudus go?? I think thats the big dilemma as we cant play with two rights wingers

Moyes doesn’t know how to fit him in, well in fact it’s Kudus Moyes short sightedness has made him play our best player in a position that makes him every average. Bowen is NOT a striker but Moyes doesn’t know how to incorporate them all into the team. When it is a known fact Kudus can play 10 put Bowen back where he is much effective and play a proper forward

Well just thinking out laud here, you could play Bowen in central midfield as a Mezzala; A mezzala is a wide central-midfield player in a trio or diamond, playing outside and ahead of a single, deeper midfielder.

and Kudus as an Inverted winger moving with the ball towards the center of the box while Bowen moving out wide and after receiving the ball, either do what he does as a winger or just cut inside.

Or Kudus can cut inside and Bowen is available on the wing possibly making a cross for late arriving Soucek or a Striker already in the penalty area.

With a striker either in or moving in and taking out the defender and Soucek arriving late it could work. But again I am no manager I just have the passion for the sport and I am following it since childhood days, so there is that.
