Downing overheadA big majority of Irons fans want to see ¬†Stewart Downing get his England chance in tonight’s friendly against Scotland.

The Hammers midfielder took a knock which saw him exclsuced from manager Roy Hodgson’s squad for the clash against Slovenia.

But despite tonight’s game being a no holds barred, no love lost affair which could get physical, Hammers fans are ready to let their favourite take his chance ahead of the clash against Everton at the weekend.

Over 67 per cent voted that he deserved his chance to represent his country again whilst just 27 per cent voted against because of the risk of injury and claiming the club should come first.

Five per cent either didn’t know or care
