West Ham take on Sevilla this week in what could legitimately be one of the biggest games in the club’s history.

The Irons know that they need to turn around a 1-0 deficit if they are to advance to the quarter-finals.

Sevilla, of course, are a record-breaking outfit in the Europa League, given that they have won the competition no fewer than six times.

The Hammers beat Aston Villa at the weekend after their defeat to Sevilla. Before that, West Ham lost to Liverpool and Southampton, while they also beat Wolves. Sevilla, by comparison, drew with Rayo Vallecano at the weekend after beating West Ham. Prior to that, they drew with Alaves, beat Real Betis and lost to Dinamo Zagreb in the second leg of their Europa League encounter, although they progressed due to their first leg win.
