EXCLUSIVE: Morrison stall is set out

|

rav5Ravel Morrison looks certain to finish the season at West Ham United with Fulham having failed to come back with an improved bid

Senior sources inside Upton Park are not writing off a last minute bid for the 20-year-old but insist the asking price remains £10 million.

And we have been told that were that to happen West Ham would insist on a 20 per cent sell on and England appearances clauses with a source declaring “Our stall has been set out!”

The  “will he stay or will he go ” saga has dragged on throughout the window but it now looks like a re-run of the Mohamed Diame situation of a year ago.

There has been no contact from the Cottagers since manager Rene Meulensteen revealed that the club had made an offer which led to a complaint by the Irons that this was an illegal approach.

No other club is understood to have approached us and should a bid come it will come “complertely out of left field” according to our insiders at the Boleyn

A source said: “There has been no further contact at all from Fulham. You can never  say never but we would now expect Rav to see this season out with us and we will get down to contract talks in the summer.

“If there is a late bid they will need to accept our figure and all the clauses including sell on percentages and England appearances!”
