Fernandes exit probable

|

Fernandes is looking over his shoulder

A possible deal to loan Edi Fernandez to Fiorentina is not linked to a deal to sign Carlos Sanchez in the opposite direction Claret and Hugh have learnt.

Sources close to the deal have explained that both deals are completely separate and not linked to each other in anyway.

Calciomercato.com this morning reported that the Swiss International will join La Viola on an initial € 1 million loan deal. The Serie A side have an option to make the player’s move permanent for € 8.5 million at the end of the season.

However, an insider told Claret and Hugh that the loan was probable but only if West Ham we can’t get a better loan offer elsewhere.

The Italian transfer window doesn’t close until 17th August so a loan doesn’t need to be completed by 5 pm this evening. The German, French and Spanish window doesn’t shut until 31st August. Championship, League one and two clubs can still loan players up to 31st August.

We do not want to sign Sanchez, that is a mistake; there are better options

Although Edi has unbelievable potential it doesn’t look like he has the drive to make it happen at our club, probably best to let him try elsewhere. Any truth to the rumours about Julian Brandt Sean ?
