Former Hammers reveal West Ham’s missing link

|

slaven-bilic-west-ham-andy-carroll_3358382Former Hammers Matthew Upson and Trevor Sinclair have told BBC Sport’s Match of the Day 2 that West Ham are missing Andy Carroll.

Having leaked 13 goals so far this season, only Stoke City have conceded more goals which leaves the Hammers second from bottom in the Premier League table.

Upson suggested to BBC Sport’s Match of the Day that Bilic has a number of problems, from losing Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell to new signing Andre Ayew who suffered an injury on debut. He also criticised the performance of left back Arthur Masuaku who is set to out at least six weeks with ligament damage.

Sinclair added that he agrees with the notion that West Ham are really missing striker Carroll, as he presses opposition defences – something West Ham are missing right now.

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

And we play cr@p football with him in the team, as I have mentioned in other posts if you can train him to be a centre back he will be of more use to us then he can be a handful on set plays other than that he is an impact sub. Masuaku was playing well apart from one game so their latest offerings are not very helpful to any of the team reading the press.

Thats true 32. And besides, we all know its The Sak who we really miss. Its him who does all those things that Sinclair thinks AC does, and more.
